Books are essential in student learning. I hope to build an engaging classroom library where students love to look for books and sit and read them during independent reading time. By building a classroom library, students will feel eager to learn and become life long readers! I also hope to have diverse books, that students can make connections to. Using these books as the basis of our curriculum and instruction also allows students to see the value we place on diversity and inclusion. It also allows my students to see the value we place on diversity and provides them a window to the world!

About my class
