My desires are to have various seating options for students to choose from. They may choose to sit on a yoga ball or a wobble seat. They may choose a regular school chair but have a bouncy band they can rest their feet on on the front of their desks. I want my classroom to feel like home. I want it to give the students a feeling of calm, peace, and safety so that there is nothing getting in the way of their learning. By have the freedom to choose, they are taking responsibility for their environment and therefore their learning as well.
