I cannot reiterate enough the importance of learning a language through reading. I have seen so many studies and have seen so many increased test scores through giving the students the opportunity to read. It has been a dream for a long time to build a classroom library, but before now, I didn't know where or how to start and I knew I wouldn't have the funds to do it myself. I am so excited that this dream could become a reality and I can really help my students buy in more to this amazing language. Reading helps to improve our language through vocabulary and pronunciation. Remember how you read or were read so many books as a child...I want to give that experience to my students. I really hope you will consider donating even a small amount.
