All of my students love to build and learn with their hands. These supplies will allow them to do both! The donations for this project will improve my classroom by reducing the amount of behavioral issues, because I will have appropriate materials that will increase engagement. I will use these materials during free play. Children will enjoy using their imaginations to create a variety of structures. After they are finished with their creations, I will document them by taking pictures with captions and create a book for all to share during story time. These materials will spark imagination, creation and meaningful discussions in my classroom! The Magna-Tiles, block play people and Mad Mattr sensory sand will allow for my students to expand their schema in regard to STEM science concepts. In preschool, we create hands on learning experiences through play. While preschool is a a great time to work on fitting into a group, we also build on literacy and math skills. The magnetic letter builders, number and counting beads, alphabet beads, and playdoh stampers will allow for students to explore math and literacy concepts in a hands on, fun and engaging way! The student's will truly treasure these materials!
