Our small school is attempting to provide a well-round band experience for our students to comfortably participate in a larger high school band setting and experience the greater things in life through a musical outlet. I have chosen that the next logical step would be for our band program to have a tenor saxophone available for rental. Having already several alto saxophones and eager players for that instrument, it would be easy to convince one of the those students to play something lower and slightly bigger. A tenor saxophone will add easily played lower notes needed for our small band to sound more like a full band yet from an instrument that isn't too large to comfortably play and carry for home practice.
