A nice, large area rug will give my students a soft, warm place to sit and enjoy a read aloud by the teacher. It would also provide a comfortable place for small groups to meet and work. The classroom Promethean Board is located in the part of the room that needs an area rug. We use the Promethean Board daily to show video clips to introduce lessons, to introduce students to virtual field trips, and show instructional videos. Our current tile floor is not comfortable for students to sit on, and the tile can be cold. An area rug would be wonderful and contribute towards a comfortable learning environment.
