I have the privilege of teaching a wonderful group of Kindergarten and First Grade students at a Title I primary school. In our classroom, every child is provided with free breakfast and lunch, ensuring they have the energy they need to focus on the big milestones ahead of them. My "littles" are at a magical stage where every day is a new discovery. We are currently building the foundation for their entire academic future. The most rewarding part of my job is witnessing the incredible transformation that happens between August and May. My students start the year with wide eyes and a bit of uncertainty, but by the end of the year, they have blossomed into confident readers and kind classmates. Your support helps provide the hands-on tools and resources—from colorful crayons to engaging literacy centers—that make this growth possible.
