Hello my name is Miss Small, and this will be my 10th year as an elementary educator. Time has definitely flown by! One of my favorite quotes that I instill and keep close to my heart is from one of our forefathers Benjamin Franklin, "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I will learn" and with that quote in mind, I am very excited and look forward to this fabulous year teaching Third Grade. My classroom is full of possibility, potential, and fun! Each student has his or her own unique story and personality. With that being said, more than three-quarters of my students come from low-income households. Which means my students go to a Title 1 school where they get free and reduced lunch and participate in B.I.C. (Breakfast In the Classroom). Although many of my kids don't come from much their eagerness and desire to learn inspires me each and every day. Thank you all for your generosity!
