These 2 iPads with cases and protectors, will allow my students access to games and apps that are designed for individualized learning. During the reading block, students will use them to practice phonics skills, reading fluency and comprehension. During our math block, students can use specific apps that will help with their accuracy and automaticity when solving addition and subtraction facts as well as target their individual math needs. Not only will students be able to practice in content areas, but they will also be learning to manipulate technology. Many of my students do not have access to technology outside of school. I want to give my students opportunities to further their learning and understand how technology can be more than a toy or a time filler, but can significantly enhance their learning. With your help, we can work to move students from approaching grade level expectations to meeting them, or even from meeting expectations to exceeding! I know that this small addition to our classroom will make a huge difference in the lives of my young friends and will contribute to their success as life long learners. Any and all donations are extremely appreciated!
