My students need coffee cart supplies such as a coffee brewer, aprons, a mobile cart, cartons of sugar, creamer packets, and coffee and tea K-Cup packs to teach them the skills needed to have their own independent jobs after they graduate from high school. Our intention is to take this coffee cart throughout the school during the morning hours and sell coffee and tea to faculty members. We will be able to understand the aspects of holding a real job by having this coffee cart. Our students will learn a variety of "soft skills" for employment. They will practice math skills through maintaining inventory and counting money and reading skills through taking orders, creating menus, and writing notes to their customers. Additionally, they will use communication skills through taking orders and collaborating with their teammates.
