Having great quality books inside our classroom will inspire students love of reading. Each days students have at least 30 minutes of independent reading time to practice their reading skills and engage in high interest books. When I left the classroom five years ago to become an administrator I donated all of my books to new teachers. My passion for directly impacting student learning has brought me. back to the classroom. As I renter the teaching field, I’m hoping to regrow my classroom library so my students will benefit from a rich variety of texts. Thank you for your help and support growing our next generation of readers.
