The Dunbar System Blue Drumline started as just a group of kids who wanted to be better than the community that they were from and reach greater heights than the generations that came before them. From the beginning, my students have been playing with hand me down sticks and straps that you can tell have been through ALOT of wear and tear. Through it all they have never wavered, instead they have gone on to become one of the best Drumlines in Chicago! By donating to our project, my students will not have to worry about where their next stick, strap or drum head will come from. They won't have to worry about have mismatch sticks or broken straps. They will be able to focus on continuing their percussion skills and remaining the BEST DRUMLINE!!
