We are looking to create an early childhood setting in a high school classroom. We have a variety of supplies in place through donations, but need larger furniture to organize our supplies. We are in need of a kidney table to lead small group activities at, a children's book shelf, and two toy and supply storage shelves. We also would like a drying rack for art creations and a puzzle organizer. Our yearly programs include four "Bring Your Child to Work Day" events, an infant and toddler observation day, and a cooperative program with a few third grade classes in our area. These all involve high school students planning and implementing programs that are developmentally appropriate for the children involved and focus on preparing young adults to be stronger teacher candidates and more competent future parents and\or child care providers.
