These books will help me make problem-solving and learning fun by supplementing the curriculum that I have purchased and the lesson plans that I have prepared. I will use the books to assist them in opening up, discussing issues, and reflecting on behaviors so they learn in a fun way. My end goal is to provide the students with coping strategies to be able to deal with challenges life throws their way. I already own a couple of books by Julia Cook and know that the new ones will aid the students with understanding hard topics like divorce and death in their lives.
