My students are Early Kindergarten through First graders with special needs, and many have language processing disorders. We are located in a medium-sized school district in Iowa. Most of my students come from homes in the lower economic range. Many of my students do not have adequate exposure to literature at home. A listening center is another way to make up for the deficit.
