As I work with students my goal is to help t meet the Social/Emotional and Academic needs of my student. One way that I am trying to reach this goal is by having a check in check out system. I will meet with student in the morning and focus on goals and points they will try to reach for that day. I will then check back in with them before school is out to review their day. Students will be rewarded for the number of points they earned when they reach their goal. Also we have created a calm down area. Students will use this area as needed . I would like to supply gadgets and gizmos for students to use. This project will make a difference in my students learning because their behavior will change and not hinder their learning. This project will allow student to reach their full emotional and academic potential.
