Our students today are more tech-savvy than ever. I would like to introduce a 3D printer to not only students in my programming club and classes, but to the whole school. It is 2018. The opportunities for learning that a 3D printer presents are endless. Teaching a lesson about geometric figures? 3D print them. Engineering a tool? 3D print it. Creating a molecule in science? 3D print it. Just learning the process of designing a 3D figure and bringing it to life is a lesson in itself. I am sure that many of our students do not even know that 3D printing is a possibility, so I can not wait to see their eyes light up when they see it in action. Bring the future to our school and help create the next engineer or scientist.
