I am fortunate to teach in a district that values the importance of technology. Here at Goodwin Elementary, we are a 1:1 IPad school. With the use of their IPads, students will have the opportunity to participate in many interactive academic games provided by OSMO. OSMO is an award winning digital interactive academic game and it has been adopted by 25,000 schools around the world. Bringing OSMO into my classroom, will allow my students to learn academics in an entertaining and exciting new way. OSMO provides students with the opportunity to discover how to collaborate, explore and experiment through 21st century technology. OSMO offers a range of academic games that support skills needed to be life long learners. Skills such as fine motor, math, reading, writing, communication, critical thinking, spelling, art, science and history. My students struggle in most of these areas; by implementing OSMO into my classroom my students will build and strengthen the skills they need to be successful life long learners.
