My students LOVE to find books that cater to their interest and/or are at their reading levels! Unfortunately, the options within our library are incredibly limited. Many of the books we do have are very, very loved and so the students struggle with reading them because of missing pages and markings. These books are falling apart. We also have limited books for teaching within the classroom as I am a first-year teacher. There are numerous books I would LOVE to have within our classroom to use for teaching lessons to the students on various topics including health, the human body, animals, science, friendship, and so on! Unfortunately, I am not able to purchase them all on my own, and they aren't always available in the library. I would LOVE to obtain more books to increase the literacy opportunities within our classroom with an expanded library, and I know that the students would, too!
