These materials will teach my students the importance of learning, by providing them with additional phonics skills, reading skills and math skills. Providing students with books that are on their reading level, encourages them to READ and they will begin to love reading. The use of the materials will give the students opportunities to read books, engage in learning centers and work collaboratively with their peers. Students become more involved in their learning when hands on materials are being used. Most of our lessons will be created around the use of these materials, giving students the use of tools as a resource for their learning.
