I teach Computer Science and Library skills. So both technology and literacy. I see all the students in our building from kindergarten thru 5th grade students. I love teaching both of these subjects and students enjoy coming to me to learn something new and different from the regular classroom teachers. Students have a hard time staying focused while learning. Giving students flexible seating helps them get wiggles out and helps them to stay focused. I dislike telling kids to stop rocking in their chairs. However, rocking in their chairs breaks the chairs and are unsafe for students. I would rather get them chairs that are made to let them move safely. Flexible seating is helpful for students learning and for the teachers ability to teach, while keeping them safe.
