When filming stop motion, it is important to leave your iPad at a particular angle and that it remain completely still. It is very hard to create effective and authentic stop motion, using iPads, without any type of stand or holder. We have set rules within our stop motion projects of good lighting, small movements and a still camera. These stands will allow my students to follow those rules and create incredible projects! Once the stop motion process has been mastered, my students will be able to use the method to create all types integrated magical works of art! They can do book reviews and trailers, give presentations on things they've learned, and explain concepts. It involves open-ended and critical thinking. With stands, these kids can create anything that exists in their heads. If they want to film something walking up the wall, they will be able to!
