The use of a light up table center in my classroom will provide an exciting opportunity for my kiddos to practice pre-writing skills through fine motor development and hand-eye coordination. A light up table will help with their English language arts skills by allowing kiddos to practice alphabet recognition and math skills including recognition of colors, numbers, and shapes. This center will also allow my students to grow by fostering their ability to communicate with one another, problem solve in a group setting, use critical thinking skills, while encouraging them to use their imagination and think creatively.
