Students in my class are bright, funny, caring and driven. Each of them brings an important and irreplaceable element to both my classroom and our school as a whole. However, their love and determination to be successful is many times met with financial obstacles. Most of my students are members of low income families. They don't have many material possessions or opportunities to experience things like museums, innovative technology, but they do have hope and determination to not make their present situation their future circumstance. Because of this, I take every opportunity I can to prepare them to be able to explore the world through reading and writing. Your donations will allow me to help foster an environment where students can travel beyond their wildest dreams.
