We are requesting scissors, construction paper, craft sticks, dry erase markers, felt sheets, crayons in fluorescent colors, cap erasers and paper fasteners. These materials will enable my students to do more hands on activities. Many of our students are unable to buy these items due to hardship times. Therefore, these materials will make it possible for them create bridges using craft sticks and glue. The scissors will be used cut and paste materials in their journals, complete arts and craft activities such as penguin's life cycle. Students will create pictures of the plants and mammal anatomy. The erasers will be used for erasing errors in their writing processes. The glue will be used for making slime and gluing materials. Our daily activities include creating concept maps, posters, houses, drawing volcanoes, plant diagrams, solar system, cutting and pasting items in their daily journals, etc. These resources will make it possible for us to do our work!
