With extensive restrictions in place for the coming school year, students will have limited options for physical education. As a 20-year yoga practitioner myself, I can attest that yoga improves fitness, reduces anxiety, and promotes mental clarity. This year, students will not be able to participate in activities that involve touching, physical proximity, or shared equipment. It's so important that students receive daily opportunities for physical exercise outdoors. Yoga is a great way for students to challenge themselves physically, relax, and feel comfortable knowing that they are participating in a safe and healthy activity.
