Critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity are the 4c's my students are working on. "Flex Your Gray Matter" will provide a real world atmosphere with social interaction and activities that focus on problem solving, as well as using their academic knowledge to navigate through the challenge. Students will use the BreakOut EDU kits to venture into situations that only their collective brains will be able to solve either physically or digitally. This project will take place during every class hour for 3 days to reinforce what has been learned. We will continue this project and reinforce the academic lessons until the end of the school year. They will also have digital BreakOuts that they will be able to be engaged with in school or at home. Thanks to your generous donation, "Flex Your Gray Matter" will improve the ability of our 8th graders to think critically, work collaboratively, communicate often, and be creative when working with academics or in life. Their lives will never be the same, and for that I will forever thank you.
