My fourth graders are always extremely energetic. They have a thirst for knowledge and I am always on the lookout to find more engaging lessons that match their high energy level. We are in a portable classroom that can be small at times and not match their high excitement for learning. Inside and outside our room, we look for ways where we can explore and learn collaboratively and not be limited by space. If they are limited, they are only limited by their imaginations. Therefore, we look for lessons, activities, and strategies that push their curious minds and energy level at the same time. They enjoy lessons full of choices, either from their own minds or mine, and they love feeling empowered and when given the ability to move and learn from one another, the sky is the limit on their learning and growing.
