Breakout Kits will engage students and keep them moving around the room, while searching for clues. Collaboration amongst students will be encouraged and 100% of the students will be given the opportunity to increase their math/science achievement scores, as measured by pre and post data. Solving the puzzle will be used as an evaluation tool, while having fun learning. Hands-on materials will add excitement, while providing experiences that encourage critical thinking while problem solving. Students get excited when they know they can be involved in actual hands-on activities and want to be included, thus encouraging them to be here and actively learning. These experiences will boost confidence and lead to collaborative discussions.
