These two chrome books will be a valuable resource to me as a reading specialist. So much of our work, testing, progress monitoring and writing is on the computers now. I will be able to pull students to my classroom and read with them for their progress monitoring or testing in a quiet place outside of the computer lab. This will allow those students who struggle to focus in a loud classroom or lab a chance to focus and work to the best of their abilities. My students also do a lot of work on writing, editing and then typing their work in preparation for their testing. Having these chrome books would allow me to do this with my students in our classroom.
