I work at a middle school where all of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students are very energetic and loves to socialize with one another. Most of my students are of Hispanic and African American descent. Unfortunately, the students struggle with reading skills and reading comprehension. All my students are not reading on grade level and their reading disability causes them to be embarrassed. To build up their self esteem and hope for the future I have decided to do reading projects.

About my class
