Students will be able to learn functions of calculators for problem solving that will prepare them for high school math and real world technology use. The requested TI-30X IIS Scientific Calculators will allow students enough function ability to solve fractions and square roots. Many students do not have access to calculators at home and the ones that I am currently using do not have the capabilities that these do. This calculator will enhance my students' ability to perform on daily work as well as performance assessments. My students will enjoy the use of technology in a subject area that is often identified as their weakest.
