Up to this point, our children have been completing their work (crafts, cutting, tracing, writing, various learning activities) on the floor seated around the big area carpet. Having tables and chairs in the classroom will get our children off of the hard floor when doing their classroom work. They will have better control with their fine motor skills. This will also create a more normal learning atmosphere in which to learn. With each child having their own chair, it will help keep them in their personal space without overcrowding. It will make it easier for the teacher and aides to move around and help the children while doing their work.

About my class
