The students who pass through my door each day are the kids that people often times think cannot succeed due to their socio-economic status. Each student who passes through my door wants the same chance that other students whose parents can afford pencils and paper. These students are struggling to do well not because of their ability but because of what they do not have. Students who try just as hard to excel but have more mountains to climb than most to succeed. These students are striving for a better life.
