Respectful relationships are built in our classroom from the first day of school. Some of those relationships blossom into lifelong friendships for my students. In one of my many efforts to assist my students in striving for a state of perpetual respect, generosity, positivity, kindness, self-avocation, and openness to learning from intentionally connecting with others. Consequently, I believe that the Bridge to Terabithia is an incredible avenue to engage my students on an imaginative journey of a friendship built on the aforementioned. By having a copy of the novel per student; including my ESOL students will allow for their fluency levels to be individually met. The Student Novel Guide, Study Pack, and the Standards-Based book will allow for the curriculum enrichment required by the Florida Department of Education and CPALMS.
