laVista High School is a continuations High School in Fullerton, CA. We deal with at risk youth, those who have slipped through the cracks and are in need of our help to graduate. While many will go in to college, just as many will head to the workforce upon graduation. As a professional with over 30 years in the TV industry my goal is to train these young, smart, media savvy students to get entry level employment in the TV and film industry. We produce a weekly show as well as a myriad number of smaller scripted projects and documentaries. Many of my students can leave high school and move into jobs as editors, camera operators, directors, and producers. We are creative, unbound by fear and ready to debut the next Spielberg, Lucas, and Lee. I foresee a day when my students stand tall, EMMY and Oscar in hand!
