I am asking for supplies to help my students to design and construct boats to enter in the Cardboard Boat Regatta sponsored by River Legacy Park. I am in need of contractor masking tape, wood glue, liquid nails and polyurethane lacquer to seal the boats. The cardboard will be provided by the River Legacy Foundation. We have tried to do fundraisers in the past but have been unsuccessful because of the low income status of many of our students. I am asking for donations of the above items to help offset the cost of the project so that I may enter more than 2 boats into the race. We have very limited funds in our schools activity fund and I am need of the materials needed to build the boats so that I can use activity money to help with the entry fees.
