Using computer software such as Microsoft Office, and other video editing software, students will be preparing scripts, researching media, produce and digitally stream weekly news programs for the whole school. However, they need a computer that can handle this intensive workload. My students need a desktop computer with sufficient disk space for video editing and streaming for our local school news station. In order to digitally stream to more than 35 classrooms, and mobile devices we need a computer with good processor. Our students have been inspired by our local Jr. High who already has their news station up and running. Providing this opportunity for our students will benefit them in so many ways, it will allow them to build teamwork skills, communication skills, public speaking/oral skills among so much more. Providing this wonderful opportunity to our students might even help spark future careers! Please help us reach our goal so we can kick off our TV News station! Our students have all the drive they just need the resources!
