The sparkly colored pencils will be an additional medium for them than just colored pencils and regular crayons. The journal is a way of getting them activated by starting with a simple dot and expanding on where that dot can take them in their drawing and creating adventure. These materials will be used to expand the students work no matter where they may be learning from. The virtual component makes doing art a bit more tricky. The Dot Journal is a wonderful tool and the sparkly pencils give added dimension.
