The children enjoy spending their time outside running around, riding on trikes, gardening, and participating in pretend play. Our current playground equipment is aging and in need of replacement. As we replace our equipment, it would be beneficial to have equipment that allows our children to learn through play. Whenever possible, we enjoy taking our learning activities outside so that the children can explore nature along with our materials. Having giant blocks that are sustainable to the outdoors would allow children to explore shapes, problem-solving, engineering, and pretend to play with their peers. Additionally, the water flow equipment would allow for sensory play and students to explore what happens when water travels from one surface to another (cause and effect).
