We desperately need a classroom set up updated world Atlases! Ours are used so much that they are currently falling apart at the seams. Students will be drawn to the new, colorful pages. Country borders change from time to time and students need an updated resource to answer questions that they develop during class activities. These Atlases are easy to read, colorful and accessible to all reading and English proficiency levels. They are also great for flipping through to see all the different types of information that they hold. A computer-based map is great if you know exactly what you are looking for, but I find a real paper Atlas is more useful when you are trying to make sense of a new area for the first time.
