My classroom is the main resource for many of my students, so I try to keep the classroom environment varied for the different learning modes of my students. By providing my students with technology, they will be able to access remediation and extension activities. Technology practice will help my students become better prepared for the annual CAASPP testing they will experience in 3rd grade and beyond, as well as increasing technological demands in society. For those students who are interested in technology, it is a way to hook them into learning. By adding three additional laptops to my classroom, I will have a 2-to-1 ratio. This will allow me to set up my students to work with technology in productive partnerships.
