The requested materials will help my students in many ways, including academically, socially and emotionally. The literacy games will enrich my students' reading abilities. The math games will give my students a better understanding of number sense and counting. The dramatic play and other play items will give my students the opportunity to interact with their peers in a social setting. All of the items will encourage life-skill learning opportunities, such as sharing, problem-solving, and discovery. They will also allow for the students to experience hands-on learning, and to strengthen their fine-motor skills.
