Our classroom is asking for a "Squishy Bean Bag Chair" to add to our "Zen Zone." This chair will be used for all of our children, but more specifically our little ones who need the sensory stimulation. In our classroom we have created a "Zen Zone." This is a place where all of the children can go voluntarily throughout the day to help when they may feel emotional or just need a break. The "Zen Zone" is a comfy and cozy space that is comprised of materials for children to help bring them to a place of comfort. "Squishy Bean Bag Chairs" are known to help children who are living with sensory processing and autism spectrum disorders both of which are prevalent in our classroom community. Adding a "Squishy Bean Bag Chair" to our classroom "Zen Zone" will help us in enabling our little ones to be successful and provide them with optimal learning experiences.
