The portable lap desks will allow for the students to use their technology in places other than a regular desk. Having clipboards and lap desks will allow them to sit at some of the other areas in the classroom to do their work. The rolling organizers will give them personal places to store their supplies. The stability balls, inflatable chairs and stools will give them more flexible options to sit. I feel this is a great way to start giving my students a voice in their education. I want to instill in them ways to make good choices. Starting with flexible seating would give them a voice, teach them that I trust them, and start building responsibility within the classroom. I am trying to get away from what is considered 'the normal' classroom. I want my students to have options to consider when choosing a seat.
