Students will use visual arts to express their observations of the world around them. In our digital world with too much screen time, our students need art more than ever. They record their life through journal entries, paintings, 3D art sculptures, and storyboards. Our class needs various paints, markers, paper, stamps and modelling clay. Hands-on experiences promote creativity. I want for our students to experience different textures, colors and tools. The more variety in the materials, the greater chance for successful projects. We will use the large-group rug as a meeting space to discuss art, our projects, and share experiences.

About my class
