Physics is a mixture of mathematical problem solving and hands on experiments. While the math is a very important aspect in physics, a good physics class is more than just math. Science is meant to be done, not experienced second- or third-hand. Hands experiments provides many students with a connection to see how the mathematics is important as opposed to just plugging numbers into a formula. Performing those experiments properly requires specialized equipment. My school has gaps in what equipment we have available. Purchasing some CPO Colliding Pendulum Modules will help close some of those gaps, particularly with regard to Newton's Laws of Motion and Hooke's Law for harmonic motion.
