My students are adventurous fifth graders who are ambitious and fun loving. This group of students is extremely special to me as I have been their teacher for not only 5th grade, but also 4th grade. They are dreamers, thinkers, doers, and a very self-motivated bunch. Thus far, they do not even realize all that they are capable of. As I think about my students, I truly want the best for them. This expands to their learning environment. Our classroom has various flexible seating options throughout that allow for each child to have their choice of seating. It is also full of laughter, music, and learning each and every day. While some students have been affected by elements outside of their control, I want school to always be a safe, comfortable environment for them to return to day in and day out.
