The wobble stools, bounce bands, and stability balls will be used in my classroom to provide flexible seating options for my young students. My students are between the ages or 5 and 9 and require additional freedom to fidget and move during important lessons and independent work because many of them have learning disabilities such as ADHD or Dyslexia. Flexible seating has brought focus, engagement, and love of learning to my room. I currently have just a couple of seats in my room that are not the traditional hard, high back, chairs you see in an average classroom. I have noticed an immense difference in my student when they are able to move while seated at their desks or group work tables. It is my goal to use these materials to provide flexible seating to every one of the students in my room.
