Having an extra iPad for speech and language therapy will allow for more than one student to be engaged in learning at a time. They will be used to expand the horizons of traditional therapy and give them the control to push beyond their limits. They will be able to record themselves producing sounds and hearing their own progress along with the speech therapists feedback. Different apps can be downloaded to facilitate language development. Communication is a key part of life and giving low-income students the ability to use technology will help them to grow in the future, inside and outside of school. Language comprehension and expression is such an important aspect of life. Every student should have the skills necessary to communicate with others.

About my class
